Citavi Team Site Licenses

Citavi Team allows you to collaborate with colleagues
on shared projects at the same time.

First, make sure you have the following:

Citavi Version 3.1 or Later

If you are using an earlier version of Citavi, click An update is available in the top right corner of the window. If the update isn't offered automatically, you can download the current version at

www.citavi.com/en/update.html and install it. You don't need to uninstall first, and all of your projects and settings are retained.

A License Key for Citavi Team

If you are using a license key for Citavi Pro, simply request a new license key for Citavi Team at www.citavi.com/en/licenses.html. Not sure what type of license key you have? Citavi Team license keys begin with 3X.

A Network Share for Your Team Projects

All members must have access to this network share. If you don't have a network share, please contact your administrator.

Team projects take seconds to create. When you start a new project in Citavi, just select Team project and save the project on the network share.

Each time you create a new team project, you're automatically assigned the project leader role. As project leader you can protect projects with a password and assign author and reader roles so that only the people you choose can open and edit projects.
